Product description This Magic Crystal Growing Christmas Tree Kit is a fantastic melding of magic and science that children of all ages will adore. The science of the Christmas tree crystal set means it is also a great mini experiment to complete in the comfort of your own living room, and watching the magic crystal tree grow will engage the intellectually curious and encourage kids to see how exciting chemistry can be! To use, first gently assemble the tree by sliding the two pieces of the trunk together and fixing it into the green plastic base. Separate the segments into individual branches and add the decorative accessories, then add the sachet of magic liquid to the plastic base. As the tree absorbs the magical solution, it will begin to form crystals as the water evaporates. These will draw colour from the green dye in the cardboard and grow lush and verdant over the course of 24 hours, bursting to life and resembling tree foliage –just like magic! Drape the decorative string of red beads around the tree and perch the golden star on top of the magic crystal tree to complete the merry appearance. When fully grown, the crystal Christmas tree measures 14cm x 6.8cm / 5.5inch x 2.6inch. The set includes 2x tree pieces, 1x green plastic base, 2x sachets of ‘magic’ solution, and festive decorations for your tree. Recommended for ages 3+.
